This small mural was commissioned by Sydney Water and the City of Canada Bay for the water kiosk in Allison Park, Chiswick.

“In response to the title “Make a Splash” I wanted to use the image of a seagull that is diving into the water creating a big splash. This movement connects the land and marine environments and creates ripples which continue all around the kiosk. The drops of water and little fish swimming beneath the surface give a playful feel while the use of various shades of blue and white, divided in an abstract way adds to this sense of light and movement as the water flies into the air. As the kiosk is situated close to a playground I felt a playful approach to the water theme would give the kiosk a fun, fresh look.”
